Hola,
My name is Chan Blue and I am the creator and author of the world’s newest favorite twins. I reside in the wonderful Atlanta metropolitan area for the last 30 years but was born and raised in a little town outside of Jacksonville Florida by awesome grandparents James and Hazel Blue. I am the only child of my mother, but I have 2 brothers’ byway of my Father. I am the proud parent of 3 adult children and grandmother of a grand dog named Bean.
I enjoy the following: sports, saving money, thrift shopping, eating healthy food, uplifting/empowering people, and of course READING to Learn and for Adventure. I am an early educator for 25+ years that has read a plethora of children’s books over the span of those years. I have taken my enjoyment of children’s books and teaching beginning reading skills and developed characters that will engage and make early reading fun to learn and adventurous.
My professional experience in early education as well as my enjoyment of teaching early education beginning reading skills has me going from a reader to an author. Having completed my master’s in Social Work (MSW) I have retired from the early education classroom but not from the enjoyment of connecting beginning readers to fabulous books.
In conclusion the world’s newest favorite twins Mac and Roni Read was conceived in 2014’ and finally birth in 2020’. I hope you enjoy Mac and Roni Read as much as I enjoy bringing them into your home and classroom. Warm Regards, Chan Blue MSW
